Washington/New York: United States President Donald Trump shared a special post on his official social media platform Truth Social, sharing details of a historic agreement for the country's energy, power, and manufacturing sectors. President Trump stated that during an important bilateral meeting in New York with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, both nations reached a full consensus to bring over 200 billion dollars in new investments to the United States.

The President wrote in his post that this new investment is part of the 350 billion dollar Korea Strategic Trade and Investment Agreement agreed upon with the South Korean leadership last year by his administration. 1. 120 billion dollar nuclear energy program:

The United States and South Korea are moving forward together on a 120 billion dollar program to build eight large-scale nuclear reactors on American soil. Under this project, six Westinghouse AP1000 reactors and two Korean APR-1400 reactors will be constructed. These eight new reactors will provide uninterrupted baseload power to the US electric grid and strengthen the nation's energy security.

2. 50 billion dollar Alaska LNG project:

Both countries have decided to jointly start work on the massive Alaska LNG project valued at 50 billion dollars. This project will put the state of Alaska's vast natural gas resources to use and build new gas infrastructure through American workers, proving transformative for the people of Alaska.

3. 22 billion dollar natural gas power project in Texas:

The third major step is setting up a 6.4 gigawatt natural gas-based power project in Encinal, Texas, at a cost of 22 billion dollars. This project will provide a massive amount of dependable power supply to the Texas region.
